About Sarah Bednarz

Born in 1992 in St. Paul, MN to Sean and Tracy Bednarz. In 2014, after receiving her Associate in Fine Arts, She enrolled in UNC Charlotte to pursue two BFA's. In May 2020, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Art Education, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Sculpture. During her time at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, while earning her BFAs, she partook in 8 exhibitions, one being a solo exhibition, EMBODIMENT. While Bednarz’s skills are widely varied, her recent sculptural work utilizes welding, sewing, and discovering new ways to use unique materials.
